You can report discrimination or violence against LGBTQ+ individuals here. It is possible to do this completely anonymously. In that case, your report will be registered and included in our monitoring, but we will not be able to contact you to take further steps.
If you would like action to be taken or need additional support, please provide your contact details. Only then can a staff member speak with you and explore together what steps are possible. All reports are handled with care and in strict confidence.

Frequently asked questions
Reporting helps to make clear what is happening in society. Many cases of discrimination or violence against LGBTIQ+ people remain invisible, making the problem seem smaller than it actually is. Your report contributes to a better understanding of the situation and makes it possible to take action. Even if an incident seems minor, all reports together show that structural problems exist. With this information, we, together with other organizations, can work on solutions and contribute to a society where everyone can be themselves, without fear or exclusion.
Not only victims, but also bystanders play an important role. If you witness something and report it, you show that discrimination and violence are not normal and should never be ignored. For victims, it can be very difficult to report incidents themselves, for example out of fear or shame. By taking action as a bystander, you give their experience a voice. Together, we make abuses visible and create more support for those who need it. Your involvement truly makes a difference and can mean a lot.
Yes, you can choose to make a report completely anonymously. This is important because not everyone feels safe sharing personal information. Anonymous reports are also valuable: they show what is happening and help to create a more complete picture of the issues faced by LGBTIQ+ people. Please note, however, that in this case we will not be able to contact you to discuss any follow-up steps. If you want support or action, it is necessary to leave your contact details. Both options are safe and confidential.
When you make a report and provide your details, a staff member from the reporting center will contact you. Together, you will discuss what happened and what support you may need. If follow-up actions are possible, we will carefully investigate your report. This may involve consulting with the police or other agencies and keeping you informed of the outcomes. Then, together we will look at the best way to address the report. Sometimes there are limited options, but we always listen to your story and provide advice tailored to your situation.
If you have any other questions, you can always contact us at meldpunt@puntqueer.nl. A staff member will get back to you as soon as possible and provide you with an appropriate answer.
